About Ibiza
Ibiza, a small isle in the mediterranean sea, forms part of the Balearic archipel. With its 572 km2 it is the most south situated isle. Together with Formentera, its neighbouring sisterisle, they are called ´Pityusses´ which means pinetree isles.
Ibiza through history always has been visited by foreigners like the Finicians, the Romans and today by thousands of people from all over the world.
In the sixties Ibiza became known as ´hippy island´ cause of hippies considering Ibiza as one of the last uncivilized spots in Europe.
Now Ibiza is known as a fashionable partyisland where young and old, big and small meet to have fun and enjoy the magic of the hot summernights. Big Parties and famous clubs offer possibilities to party from evening untill morning and from morning untill evening.
But Ibiza is not only partying, it is also a place where you can find peace and rest. Charming hotels and villas located in typical natural spots far away from stress and noise but still near the city centers. Nice beaches, breathtaking views, crystaline water, tolerant people make Ibiza a place where all kind of people meet to party, to relax or both.
